Of the numerous traditional and modern
resorts in Armenia, we have hand-picked a few to recommend to our Guests
and Partners. The resorts that we offer meet our most stringent
criteria in terms of security, accommodations, dining, entertainment,
healthy lifestyle, and surroundings. Resorts are available in most
marzes (provinces) of the country. Partners should not hesitate to
request special arrangements for groups or individuals with particular
needs or interests; we proudly accommodate most of such requests, in
many cases free of additional charge! We are also striving to identify
best facilities for people with special physical or nutritional needs.
We are always willing to work out a solution in such cases.
Noah’s Land Resort in Sevan
Noah’s Land is perhaps the most
appealing alternative to a comfortable city hotel, a perfect destination
for those preferring the tranquil ambience of a beautiful lakefront
resort. Lake Sevan, the third largest freshwater mountain lake in the
world, is less than a hundred miles from the slopes of biblical Mount
Ararat where Noah’s Arc had allegedly landed, and only 50 miles from
Yerevan. Here at an altitude of over 6000 ft, the air is always crisp
and cool and the starry sky is unpolluted by city lights. The cottages
are comfortable and very well maintained. At the restaurant and the
cafe, guests enjoy consistently delicious dishes made from locally grown
organic ingredients; however, many choose to savor Armenian barbeque
(Khorovats) aboard the adorable ferry-boat gliding over the moonlit
mirror of the lake. Noah’s Land is a great spot for a romantic evening, a
weekend getaway, or a family vacation.
